Simone Schnall is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Psychology at the University of Cambridge. She is also Director of the Cambridge Embodied Cognition and Emotion Laboratory.

Her research focuses on the role of emotions and feelings, including physical sensations, in shaping our judgements and decisions. She is particularly interested in how people make decisions and form moral judgements.

She currently serves as Associate Editor for Social Psychological and Personality Science and Consulting Editor for Perspectives on Psychological Science.

Her research has been featured in The New York Times, The Economist, New Scientist, Times Higher Education and other international media outlets.
